Babies Tickets – The Other Palace

“The year above got pregnant so we’re doing this instead!”

Summer is finished. Year 11 is finally here. Being a grown-up is cool. Being a kid is out. The main focus this year is on more responsibility, some serious hard partying, and, oh yeah… parenting a robot plastic baby simulator.

Following a sharp rise in pregnancies from the year above, the sex education department in the school feels compelled to take action. Fuelled by a blistering pop-rock score, The Other Palace presents Babies, which follows the fortunes of nine classmates as they embark on their most important school project yet: attempting to keep a fake baby alive for an entire week. As teenage pressures collide with the demands of parenting, the students are forced to ask themselves: who is it I want to be? what is it I want?

The Other Palace is a small off-West End theatre located on Palace Street, close to Victoria Station, and has a single level of seating with a capacity of 312 seats.

The Other Palace is an intimate venue and the seats can sometimes be reconfigured depending on the resident production however, the main auditorium offers excellent views of the stage from all seats and has a steep rake and there are no obvious restrictions to views of the stage. Each row has a slight curve, but you can see the entire stage from wherever you sit in the theatre.

The best overall views are situated in the mid-centre of the theatre with rows F-J being particularly good and sitting close-up to the stage for plays and one-off concerts is also recommended.

Value for money can be found by sitting in rows M-N which are often discounted but still offer an amazing and clear view of the stage making them ideal for bargain hunters looking for cheap Babies tickets. Equally, the seats at the ends of rows offer good value for money, with completely clear views of the stage, and generally fall into lower price bands!
